Designed to be obvious and non threatening, the British United Nations body armour cover is on the case. Unlike a full plate carrier, these held smaller plates in pockets to the front and back of the heart - a 1993 adjustment to the design. In 1995 the design was again modified, with addition of rank slides. Two styles are in this batch but just as blue as each other.
Lots of dangly bits include waist fastening for size adjustment and some have a back hanging tab for attaching to a PLCE belt. The front closes with hook & loop a press stud. If you're collecting (or destroying) body protection equipment, United Nations paraphernalia or just really feel like Mr. Blue Sky - put one in the post.
